Does Square Space “Soar” above the rest with this new Super Bowl LII Campaign?

Super Bowl LII is set to take place this Sunday, February 4, 2018. As always you have the ones who are there to watch competitive hungry men fighting for the season championship, and those who look forward to the most highly anticipated company advertisements of the year.

As per usual there is no exception to this year’s ad lineup, including famous names across the board immersing themselves in somewhat clever, somewhat ridiculous ad spots. Square Space the website building company, has followed the trend and created a 3 part ad campaign with actor Keanu Reeves. The ads showcase Reeves flying through the desert on a motorcycle. Interesting enough, the bike he is riding is an Arch Motorcycle his own high-performance motorcycle company.

The campaign is focused on how Keanu easily created his company’s website with Square Space. Reeves is an iconic Hollywood actor with an excellent track record of being a thoughtful and caring human being. Do you think with this being said, Keanu as the centrepiece leaves a good impression on consumers? In an interview conducted in relation to the campaign he says:

“There’s something about Squarespace that’s really accessible yet sophisticated,” Reeves said in a statement. “The design and functionality share a similar ethos to Arch Motorcycle. When I was approached to make this commercial, we were already using the platform, which makes it a really organic fit.”

In my oppinion, this statement is pure gold for Square Space. By informing consumers that Keanu and his company used the website host before they were involved in a campaign together assures viewers that he backs what he is influencing on. I found that there was an elegant flow in how the company used this marketing to get me into designing my own website.

The simplicity is simply attractive, and Everything just seems to work. Its enticing for sure, by using keywords such as Dreams, Reality, and Yourself, it makes your wildest dreams seem possible, while not lacking quality and performance. Be sure to watch out for the ad during the Super Bowl, and maybe, just maybe you’ll consider chasing your own dreams.
